The Islander was designed by Desmond Norman and John Britten for use as a short haul ?Air Donkey?. This twin engine Aircraft was easily capable of handling the roughest landing strips and is still in use today mainly being employed as an Island Hopper or as a Bush Flyer in Africa. Our version of this Aircraft has most of the attributes of the original and includes a special vibration absorbing Aluminium undercarriage.
